An “Eye Check-up Camp” was organized as a part of 34th Road Safety Week celebration by Rotary Club of Dahej in association withDahej Industries Association,Dahej Eco-Friendly Society, Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Ltd, Pururaj Petroleum (Essar Petrol Pump) on 17th of January, 2023 during 10:00 to 14:00 hours at Pururaj Petroleum (Essar Petrol Pump), Plot No: D-21/CH/47/1, GIDC Phase-2, Opp. Mirash Industries, Dahej, Bharuch
An Expert team of Doctors & Medical staff from A&V Trauma Center-Dahej (The GLOBAL group of Hospitals) arranged setup of eye checking facility at the Pururaj Petroleum with the motive to check maximum number of eyes of drivers & Villagers. Members of Rotry Club of Dahej, Dahej Industries Association, Dahej Eco-Friendly Society, Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Ltd were remains present during the inauguration ceremony of camp to encourage motive of this noble cause. During this camp Drivers & People of Surrounding Villages took a benefit of the camp, Night Vision glasses given to drivers & other people whoever is required it during the camp.
During the final Phase of the program, one tree was planted by all the present personsas a symbol of paying their moral duty towards the preservation of the environment. The program was concluded with a vote of thanks by DIA General Secretary Mr. Baldev Ahir and Treasurer Mr. Deepak Patel.
