Along with the growth of industries at Dahej there created needs for the health facilities
too. Looking to this demand, Dahej Health & Welfare Society Hospital (DHWS) was
constructed. This is a multispeciality hospital with 50 beds. The hospital is constructed in a
huge area at plot no. S/23, opp. to GACL Company gate, Dahej PCPIR area. Which will be
favourable to all.
The patients are given 24 hrs. emergency service. One medical officer perform duty for 24
hours here.
The facilities of ICU, NICU, Operation theater, Laboratory, Sonography, Digital X-ray and General rooms, Semi special and Special Rooms are given in this hospital.
If we look at the health facilities, the Taluka level hospitals are there at Vagara and Bharuch both. Also, there are health centres at Dahej, Pakhajan, Navetha, Kasva- samni villages one at each place. Each one has 6 bed facility.
There is 10 bed hospital at Birla –Copper township.
Moreover there is a District Civil Hospital at Bharuch. Also, there are Global Hospital and other private hospitals. Which have advance facilities.
