During 15th to 18th September Bharuch/ Ankleshwar district’s low lying areas being flooded due to heavy rains and overflow of river Narmada due to which large number of families were required to rescued and shifted to safe places from the affected areas.
In such outbreak situation Various NGO’s, Industries & Institutions helped district administration through providing with Dry snacks, water bottles, biscuits, transport arrangements, etc. Further The District Administration of Bharuch had appealed to the Associations & industries to extend support by providing Food (Ration) kit packets containing daily consumables rice, dal, etc.
In such outbreak situation Various NGO’s, Industries & Institutions helped district administration through providing with Dry snacks, water bottles, biscuits, transport arrangements, etc. Further The District Administration of Bharuch had appealed to the Associations & industries to extend support by providing Food (Ration) kit packets containing daily consumables rice, dal, etc.
Dahej Industries Association took an initiative & Appealed all member industries to support in that crisis situation. By coordinating with member industries Dahej Industries Association arranged more than 10,000 Nos ration kits & 15,000 nos Dry Snacks kits for flood affected peoples. Team DIA also arranged Lunch & Meals for 4 days in flood affected areas.
In addition, to minimizes Post Disaster diseases on the health of people Dahej Industries Association arranged free medical camp at various flood affected area with the help of member Industries & in association with district administration
