Program Dahej Industries Association arranged Tree Plantation & World Environment Day-2024 Celebration at Dahej Industries Association under guidance of Regional Officer GPCB, Bharuch & with the support of Gujarat Pollution Control Board-Bharuch, Social Forestry Division-Bharuch &Dahej Eco-Friendly Society (Disaster Management Center-Dahej). During the celebration of the program, Regional Officer GPCB Mr. K N Vaghamsi and Team GPCB, Range Forest Officer Mr. V. V. Charan and his team, Mr. Shailesh Prajapati-Officer of GIDC, office bearers of Dahej Industries Association and Dahej Eco-Friendly Society as well as representatives of various industries located in Dahej were present.
The program was started with a welcome address by Dr Sunil Bhatt, President, DIA. Regional Officer GPCB Shri K. N. Vaghamsi explained the importance of environment day & importance of environment for every living being and how to preserve the environment in the true sense. Apart from this, the winners of the “SwachhataPakhwada” competition organized by GPCB were presented with prizes in recognition of their outstanding efforts.
During the final Phase of the program, one tree was planted by all the present personsas a symbol of paying their moral duty towards the preservation of the environment. The program was concluded with a vote of thanks by DIA General Secretary Mr. Baldev Ahir and Treasurer Mr. Deepak Patel.
